With twenty-three years of experience in English Language Teaching (ELT), Hande Koyuncuoğlu has transitioned from her roles as an ESL teacher at Queen English Language School to distinguished teacher trainer at Queen TESOL Centre in Istanbul. Notably, Queen TESOL is affiliated with Vancouver International School in Canada, which further broadens the global scope of her expertise. Her academic background began at Istanbul University, Turkey, where she earned a BA in American Culture and Literature, complemented by an English Teaching Certification. She continued her studies by obtaining an MA in English Language Education from Yeditepe University, Istanbul, Turkey. Before her tenure at Queen, Hande contributed to the field through teaching roles in various private institutions and state schools. This early experience laid the foundation for her extensive and diverse career in English Language Teaching. Throughout her career, Hande has made a significant impact by educating international English teachers from over 50 different countries. This global engagement has enriched her professional experience, providing a diverse and multicultural perspective to her teaching and training endeavors. Driven by a profound interest in second language acquisition and multilingualism, Hande co- authored her inaugural research article, "The Attrition of Turkish as a Third Language: Preliminary Case Study Investigation,"; with Yasemin Yıldız. This work was recognized in the International Journal of Applied Linguistics, published by John Benjamins in 2018. Drawing from her diverse experiences, Hande has evolved into an entrepreneur, embarking on the establishment of her own language consultancy program. This innovative venture integrates coaching, mentoring, self-awareness, English language development, and eloquence in both daily and professional communication, all presented under her personal brand. Hande’s career has also included significant expertise in guiding students through international exams, particularly TOEFL and IELTS. Additionally, she has provided professional development for pre-service and in-service teachers through international certificate programs such as TESOL for Children and TESOL for Test Preparation, extensions of the TESOL program. This commitment highlights her dedication to enhancing teachers; proficiency in these specialized areas.
